We confirm the crew, arrival window and any packing, and send a checklist for the week before.
Move day
The crew protects floors and doorways, wraps every piece and loads the truck carefully.
Unload and set up
Furniture goes in the right rooms, beds are put back together and we take empty boxes away if you want.

Careful with your things
Boxloft is a local moving company with its own trucks and trained crews. Every piece of furniture is wrapped in moving blankets, mattresses go in covers, and we lay floor runners and door-frame pads at both homes. You get a written estimate before moving day, and the hourly rate on your quote is the rate on your bill.

Common questions
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks for most dates. The last and first few days of the month and summer weekends fill up first, so book those six weeks ahead if you can.
How is the price worked out?
Local moves are hourly, from the time the crew arrives at your door to when the last item is placed, plus a one-time truck travel fee. Long-distance moves get a flat written quote.
How many movers do I need?
Two movers suit a studio or one-bedroom, three suit two or three bedrooms, and four make sense for larger homes or long carries. We recommend a crew size on your quote.
Do you supply boxes?
Yes. You can buy boxes, tape and paper from us, or rent reusable plastic bins delivered a week before your move and picked up after.
Are my things insured?
Basic coverage is included on every move. Full replacement value coverage is available for a small extra fee, and we explain both on your quote.
Is there anything you can't move?
We don't move propane tanks, paint, fuel or live animals, or plants on long-distance moves. Jewellery and important documents are best kept with you.
