Brightwell is a design-build team that does only kitchens and bathrooms. Our designer draws your room, our own tilers and installers build it, and a licensed plumber and electrician we've worked with for years handle the rough-ins. You get one fixed price before demolition starts, and dust walls go up on day one.

Common questions
How long will we be without a kitchen?
Usually 4 to 6 weeks for a kitchen that keeps its layout. We set up a temporary sink and counter where we can, and nothing is torn out until your cabinets have arrived.
How do you waterproof showers?
Every shower gets a full waterproof membrane on the walls and floor, sealed at every seam and corner, and we flood-test the floor before any tile goes down.
Is the design visit free?
The first visit is free. 3D drawings and finish selection are $750, credited in full to your project when you go ahead.
Can I supply my own fixtures?
Yes. Tell us at the design stage so we can plan rough-in heights and valves around them. We warranty our installation, and the fixture warranty stays with the maker.
What does a typical bathroom cost?
Most full bathroom renovations we do land between $18,000 and $35,000, depending on size, tile and whether we move plumbing.
Do I need a permit?
If we move plumbing, add circuits or take out walls, yes. We apply for it and book the inspections as part of the job.
