Canoes, kayaks and paddleboards
Free for guests, with life jackets in every size. Take them out any time from 7am to dusk.
Lakeside sauna
A wood-fired sauna on the shore. Book a private hour at the lodge, then jump straight in the lake.
Fire pits and firewood
Every cabin has its own fire pit and picnic table, with the first bundle of firewood on us.
Boat rentals
Fishing boats with small motors and a pontoon boat, by the half day or full day.
Camp store
Coffee, ice, bait, s'mores kits and the kitchen basics you forgot to pack.

Within a day, with the total price and the cabin number.
Pay the deposit
30% holds your cabin. The rest is due on arrival.
Arrive
Pick up your key at the lodge, or from the lockbox after 8pm.

A family-run lake resort
Fernlough has been a family-run cabin resort for three generations. The twelve cabins sit along 600 metres of shoreline, each with its own deck, fire pit and view of the water, and none more than a short walk from the beach. There are no TVs in the cabins, and the wifi stays at the lodge.

FAQ
Common questions
When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 11am. If the cabin is free, we're happy to let you in early or stay a little later.
Is there a minimum stay?
Two nights for most of the season, and three nights in July and August. Weekly stays in summer run Saturday to Saturday.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome in four of our cabins for $25 a night. Please keep them on a leash around the beach and lodge.
What should I bring?
Food, drinks and beach towels. Bedding, bath towels, a full kitchen, firewood and life jackets are all here.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel 30 days or more before arrival for a full refund of your deposit. Inside 30 days, we refund it if we can rebook the cabin.
Is there wifi?
In the lodge and on the main deck. The cabins are wifi-free on purpose, though most phones get a signal.
