Quillstone is a small learning centre with eight tutors, all with teaching degrees or degrees in the subject they teach. Every student starts with a free assessment, then gets a written plan and a regular weekly slot with the same tutor. Parents get a short progress note after every session.

Common questions
What happens at the free assessment?
A 45-minute session where a tutor works through grade-level maths or reading with your child, then talks with you about strengths, gaps and a plan.
Are your tutors background-checked?
Yes. Every tutor has a current background check and teaching or subject experience.
Do you tutor online?
Yes. Online sessions use a shared whiteboard and video, at the same price as in person.
How often should my child come?
Most students come once or twice a week. For test prep, we usually suggest twice a week for 6 to 8 weeks before the exam.
What if we need to cancel a session?
Give us 24 hours' notice and we'll reschedule at no charge. Late cancellations are charged in full.
Do you work with students with learning differences?
Yes. Several of our tutors have experience with dyslexia and ADHD. Tell us at the assessment so we can match the right tutor.
