Common questions
Do I need a new roof or just a repair?
Often just a repair. If the shingles are still flexible and the leak is around a chimney, vent or skylight, a flashing repair usually fixes it. We send photos so you can judge for yourself.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most homes take 1 to 3 days. We won't tear off if rain is forecast, and any open section is tarped at the end of each day.
What warranty do I get?
A 10-year written warranty on our workmanship, plus the shingle manufacturer's warranty on materials. Both are emailed to you when the job is done.
Can you roof over my old shingles?
We don't. A tear-off lets us check the wood deck, replace soft boards and install proper underlayment, which a layover hides.
Will you help with an insurance claim?
Yes. We tarp the roof, take dated photos and write up the damage and repair cost for your adjuster.
What happens to my yard and driveway?
We cover plants and siding with tarps, put the dumpster on boards to protect the driveway, and do a magnetic nail sweep before we leave.
