Common questions
My furnace isn't working. Is there anything I should check first?
Check that the thermostat is set to heat, the furnace switch is on, the breaker hasn't tripped and the filter isn't clogged. If it still won't run, call us and we'll walk you through it.
Should I repair or replace my furnace or AC?
If the unit is over 15 years old and the repair is more than a third of the cost of a new one, replacing usually makes sense. We always quote both so you can compare.
Will a heat pump keep my home warm in winter?
Cold-climate heat pumps heat well into the minus twenties. Many homes keep the existing furnace as backup for the coldest days, which we can set up to switch over on its own.
How often should I service my system?
Once a year for each system. Furnaces in the fall, AC and heat pumps in the spring. Our Comfort plan books both for you.
How long does a new install take?
A furnace or AC swap usually takes one day. A ducted heat pump with new line sets takes one to two days.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, on new systems. Ask your comfort advisor for monthly payment options with your quote.
